2. 4th of July Extravaganza
Located at the corner of East North Street and Wood Street, this patriotic festival is a must-see. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket to enjoy extraordinary fireworks that light up the entire town at the end of the evening.
3. Kilgore Farmer’s Market
Each Saturday morning, the town gathers for a fantastic and diverse farmers market. With fresh, locally-grown produce and homemade goods, there is plenty to browse and purchase. Located at 100 North Commerce Street, the market features dozens of small businesses for you to support. 4. Rangerette Showcase & Museum
Located at 110 Broadway on the Kilgore College campus is this historical museum that showcases over 80 years of history of the best-known collegiate drill team. You can view past Rangerette performances on multiple TVs throughout the venue. For a more immersive experience, watch a showcase of a longer performance in their large theater. They also have a fabulous display of their ornate costumes over the years.
5. Kilgore Cruise Night
Every last Saturday in the summer at 105 North Kilgore Street, witness ornate hot rods, classic cars, trucks, dragsters, and more gather downtown to show off their sweet rides. During cruise night, live music is played for your enjoyment along with food for purchase, door prizes, contests, and more. Keep the entire family entertained during this night of outdoor fun.
