You do have the option to upgrade to a 5.7-liter V8 with 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet or a turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V6 with 240 horsepower and 420 pound-feet when you buy the Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, and Summit models. On all the engines is an eight-speed automatic transmission. Every model has a drivetrain of rear-wheel drive. The maximum towing capacity for the gas V6 is 6,200 pounds, the diesel V6 and the V8 can tow up to 7,400 pounds. There are drive modes for the SRT. There are eight modes: Auto that automatically activates when the vehicle starts, Sport that increases the vehicle performance, Track that maximizes the capability on smooth dry surfaces, Snow that optimizes drive in ice and snow, Tow that give maximum towing performance, Eco that maximizes fuel economy, Valet that limits engine to 4,00 rpm, and Custom that allows the drive to put in their personal preference.
